Hello! Is anybody there?

So I finally thought it was time to come back to this blog after years and years of being quiet. I can say I didn’t update this blog all these years because I was busy and blah blah blah. But the truth is simple – my priorities changed. And boy did they change quickly and drastically!
When I started this blog I was still in university, wanting to travel the world and just write about my trips and random stuff for fun. Now I’m at a point where I look back at my writings from five years ago and think – wow! was I free or was I free?! :D Some of the stuff I wrote is actually so funny and silly to me now! But I’m really glad I blogged back then because it helps me reflect on who I was as a person, and how my thinking has changed and evolved since. Besides, I would’ve definitely forgotten all the little travel details I wrote about. I don’t have the best memory so taking pictures and telling stories is how I document my life. Just last night, I was reading my Beijing blog post and thought… wow! I don’t remember any of this now! I wish I had finished writing about my trip. I actually still do have drafts of some blog posts I had planned. Might finish and post them one day.

Anyhow, I’m back now as a wife and a mom! Professionally, I’m also a qualified CPA, CA. But recently, styling my new home is what’s been bringing me lots of excitement (as some of you may know if you follow me on Instagram). So I decided that home décor will be the main subject of this blog now, with occasional random talk here and there of course. I have already been “insta-blogging” my home decor journey and that’s what I’ll continue to do regularly. God knows I love Instagram, Insta-stories, and everything else about that app! :D But sometimes it can be a bit hard to sort pics on there. When it comes to home design, I like to be able to see multiple pictures of an entire space or room to get a complete feel for it. Assuming there are others out there like me, I thought I’d collect pictures of my home projects here under different blog posts to show progress and transformations.
